What are the system requirements for BitOSDT?
BitOSDT requires Windows 10/11 (version 1909 or later), minimum 8GB RAM (16GB recommended), 100GB free disk space, and administrator privileges. Note: PXE and Server Mode features are disabled during beta testing.
How does BitOSDT compare to Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)?
BitOSDT simplifies the deployment process significantly. While MDT requires complex task sequence creation and infrastructure setup (6-14 hours), BitOSDT gets you deploying in 3-10 minutes with an intuitive GUI and automated configuration.
What features are available in the beta version?
The beta version includes: Local Mode image creation, USB/ISO deployment, basic post-installation tasks, and image management. Disabled features: PXE Server Mode, WebServer interface, Advanced Settings, and PowerShell integration.
Can I use my existing drivers and applications?
Yes! BitOSDT seamlessly integrates with your existing driver packages and applications. You can import driver sets, install applications during deployment, and maintain your current software licensing while benefiting from streamlined automation.
Is BitOSDT suitable for large enterprise deployments?
During beta, BitOSDT focuses on Local Mode deployments. Enterprise features like PXE Server Mode and centralized management will be available in the full release. The beta is perfect for small to medium deployments and testing.
What support options are available?

How often is BitOSDT updated?
During beta, we release updates bi-weekly with feature enhancements, bug fixes, and compatibility improvements. Critical updates are released as needed. All updates are backward compatible and preserve your configurations.
